Proposed Ordinance for 04.09.2024 Council Meeting

The following ordinances are on the agenda for consideration at the regular City Council meeting of April 9, 2024.  Please see the agenda packet here for more information.

First Readings

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, amending part of the Official Zoning Map to rezone 0.218 acres out of Block 67-68(PTS), Lost Addition, located at 400 W. 11th Street, from the Residential Single-Family (RS) zoning district to the Townhouse (TH) zoning district; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, amending part of the Official Zoning Map to rezone 0.36 acres out of Block 26 (Lots 3-4), City of Georgetown, located at 510 S. Church Street, from the Residential Single-Family (RS) zoning district to the Neighborhood Commercial (CN) zoning district; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, amending part of the Official Zoning Map to rezone .5 acres out of Block 7(PT), Snyder Addition, generally located 1205 Maple Street, from Planned Unit Development (PUD) with a base zoning of Residential Single-Family (RS) to  Planned Unit Development (PUD) with a base zoning of  Neighborhood Commercial (CN) within the Southwestern University PUD area; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, amending the 2030 Comprehensive Plan by amending the future land use designation for a 361.943 acre tract in the C.H. Delaney Survey, Abstract 181, generally located at 751 County Road 248, from “Neighborhood” to “MixedDensity Neighborhood” and “Regional Center”; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, granting a Special Use Permit for the specific use of ‘Automobile Repair and Service, General’ and ‘Automotive Sales and Service’ within the General Commercial (C-3) zoning district, for the property located at 5255 S IH 35, bearing the legal description of Lots 1-3, Block B, out of the Dennis P. McCoy Subdivision; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City of Georgetown, Texas, amending the fiscal year 2024 Annual Budget for midyear obligations that were not known at the time the budget was adopted; appropriating the various amounts thereof; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

Second Readings

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, amending part of the Official Zoning Map to rezone 2.232 acres in the David Wright Survey, Abstract No. 13, generally located at 2555 IH 35 N, from Agriculture (AG) to General Commercial; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas amending Ordinance Nos. 2019-69, 2020-84, and 2021-40 and approving a “Third Amendment to the Development Agreement for Parkside on the River Subdivision,” repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.
