Proposed Ordinances for Council 02.13.2024

The following ordinances are on the agenda for consideration at the regular City Council meeting of February 13, 2024.  Please see the agenda packet here for more information.

First Readings

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, amending Sections 12.02.030, 12.06 and 12.07.010 and amending and adding certain definitions in Chapter 16 of the Unified Development Code (UDC) relating to amendments necessary for the implementation of the Future Mobility Plan and updating references throughout the UDC to the Future Mobility Plan; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, providing for the extension of certain boundary limits and the annexation and initial zoning designation of General Commercial (C-3) of certain territory consisting of 4.655 acres, more or less, known as Lot 1, Block B of the Davis Subdivision and portions of right-of-way on Whisper Creek Drive, as described herein; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, amending Chapter 3.01 of the Code of Ordinances by adding Section 3.01.222 to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Georgetown relating to overtime for eligible exempt employees; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

Second Readings

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown amending Section 2.28.210 of the Code of Ordinances adding single-role paramedic and single-role paramedic/minimum staffing levels assignment pays for certain assignments within the Fire Department; repealing all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict therewith; providing a severability clause; and providing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, adopting the Sidewalk Master Plan; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, granting a Special Use Permit for a Multifamily, Attached Dwelling Unit use in the Local Commercial (C-1) zoning district, for the property addressed at 605 E. University Avenue Suite 110, bearing the legal description of Academia East Condo, Building 605, Unit 110, 4.9% Common Area Interest, repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.
