Proposed Ordinances for 11.14.2023 City Council Meeting

First Readings

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, amending part of the official zoning map to rezone the 2.658 acres site known as the Planned Unit Development of Sun City Texas, Worship Site Option Tract, in Neighborhood 14 and the 5.341 acres site known as Sun City Texas Neighborhood14 Worship Site Tract C, generally located at 811 Sun City Blvd, from Residential Single Family (RS) Zoning District to the Public Facility (PF) Zoning District; repealing conflicting Ordinances and Resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, granting a Special Use Permit for a Multifamily, Attached Dwelling Units use in the Mixed-Use Downtown (MU-DT) zoning district, for the property located at 109 W. 2nd Street, bearing the legal description River Place Condo, Building 1, Unit 4, 31.75% Common Area Interest, repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, amending part of the official zoning map to rezone Lot 2, Block 1, of the Park Central One Section 1 Subdivision, generally located at 701 Westinghouse Road, from the Industrial (IN) Zoning District to the General Commercial (C-3) Zoning District; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, providing for the extension of certain boundary limits and the annexation and initial zoning designation of Residential Single-family of certain territory consisting of 29.02 acres, more or less, in the J. Thompson Survey Abstract No 608, as described herein; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, amending part of the Official Zoning Map to rezone 11.22 acres in the Woodruff Stubblefield Survey, Abstract No. 556 generally located south of the intersection SH 130 and CR 102 from Agriculture (AG) Zoning District to Public Facility (PF) Zoning District; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, amending part of the Official Zoning Map to rezone 9.172 acres in the John Berry Survey Abstract No. 51, generally located at 1 CR 152, from Agriculture (AG) to Business Park (BP); repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, closing a portion of 6th Street between South Austin Avenue and South Main Street; providing for the abandonment by Quitclaim of that portion of 6th Street; providing for the terms and conditions of such abandonment; calling for a public hearing; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas amending Section 2.118.010 of the Code of Ordinances relating to the membership of the Georgetown Water Utility Advisory Board; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, granting a Special Use Permit for the specific uses of Self-Storage, Indoor and Commercial Vehicle Sales, Rental or Leasing Facility within the Somerset Hills PUD (Ord. No. 2018-20) zoning district, for the property located at 7900 RM 2338, bearing the legal description of 10.528 acres known as Lot 1, Block A, of Furman Tierra Subdivision; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.
