First Readings

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, providing for the extension of certain boundary limits of the City of Georgetown, Texas, and the annexation of approximately 17.182 acres of right-of-way situated in part in the Lewis P. Dyches Survey, Abstract No. 171, and in part in the Frederick Foy Survey, Abstract No. 229, generally located between Road to Market (RM) 2338 and Ronald Reagan Boulevard, to be known as County Road 245, as described herein; providing for service plans; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, repealing Chapter 9.13 – “Juvenile Curfew” of the Code of Ordinances, repealing conflicting Ordinances and Resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance levying a tax rate for the City of Georgetown, Texas, for the Tax Year 2023; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, adding Section 4.16.080 to the Code of Ordinances to make available historic tax exemption for historic homes; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

Second Readings

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, amending Ordinance No. 2006-104 designating reinvestment zone number 3, City of Georgetown, (“Williams Drive Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone”) by amending the City’s percentage of Contribution to Reinvestment Zone Number 3, City of Georgetown; by extending the term of Reinvestment  Zone Number 3, City of Georgetown; by adopting the final project and financing plan for the zone, and other matters related thereto; containing findings; providing a repealing clause; providing a severability clause; and providing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, providing for the extension of certain boundary limits of the City of Georgetown, Texas, and the annexation and initial zoning designation of General Commercial (C-3) of certain territory consisting of 6.316 acres, more or less, in the L.J. Dyches Survey, Abstract 180, as described herein; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, amending part of the Official Zoning Map to rezone 132.973 acres, generally located at Sam Houston Avenue, Rockride Lane and Bell Gin Road, from the AG zoning district to a Planned Unit Development with 18 acres of the Local Commercial (C-1) zoning district, 38.6 acres of the General Commercial (C3) zoning district, and 57.9 acres of the Multi-Family (MF-1) zoning district, repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, granting a Special Use Permit for the specific uses of a Columbarium in the Agriculture (AG) zoning district on a property located at 4010 Williams Drive, bearing the legal description of 5.004 acres, Block 1, Lot 1 repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, adopting the annual budget for the ensuing fiscal year beginning October 1, 2023, and ending September 30, 2024, in accordance with Chapter 102 of the Local Government Code; appropriating the various amounts thereof; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas relating to the classifications and number of positions for all City of Georgetown Fire Fighters and Police Officers pursuant to Chapter 143 of the Texas Local Government Code pertaining to Civil Service; repealing all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict therewith; providing a severability clause; finding and determining that the meetings at which the ordinance is passed are open to the public as required by law; and providing for an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, amending Section 2.08.010 of the Code of Ordinances regarding administrative departments; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and setting an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, Amending Section 13.04.120 titled “Rates and Charges – Water – Schedule” of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Georgetown, Texas; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; providing a severability clause; providing for publication; and setting an effective date.
