Proposed Ordinances for consideration at the February 28, 2023 City Council meeting

The following ordinances are on the agenda for consideration at the regular City Council meeting of February 28, 2023.  Please see the agenda packet here for more information.

First Readings

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, providing for the extension of certain boundary limits of the City of Georgetown, Texas, and the annexation and initial zoning designations of Residential Single Family (RS) and Neighborhood Commercial (CN) of certain territory consisting of 101.24 acres, more or less, in the John Berry Survey Abstract No. 51 and the annexation of 3.68 acres of right-of-way on County Road 152 adjacent to said territory; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, amending part of the Official Zoning Map to rezone 8.66 acres in the Orville Perry Survey, Abstract 10, from the Residential Single-Family (RS) zoning district to the Local Commercial (C-1) zoning district; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas (“City”) adding Chapter 14.06 of the Georgetown Code of Ordinances granting a public utility franchise to Direct Propane Services; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and declaring an effective date.

Second Readings

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, amending chapters 2.36, 2.48 and 2.64 of the Code of Ordinances; repealing Chapters 2.52, 2.68, 2.88, 2.92, 2.96, 2.100, 2.108, 2.110, and 2.113 relating to boards and commissions of the city; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, amending part of the Official Zoning Map to rezone 12.750  acres in the Joseph Robertson Survey Abstract 545, generally located at 3225 Westinghouse Road from the Agriculture (AG) to  Planned Unit Development (PUD) with a base zoning of  Low Density Multi-family  (MF1) and Local Commercial (C-1); repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, amending part of the Official Zoning Map to rezone 11.795 acres out of the John Berry Survey, Abstract No. 51, generally located at the intersection of Haverland Drive and County Road 971, from the Agriculture (AG) zoning district to Low Density Multifamily (MF-1) zoning district; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.
