Proposed Ordinances for consideration at the November 8, 2022 meeting

The following ordinances are on the agenda for consideration at the regular City Council meeting of November 8, 2022.  Please see the agenda packet here for more information.

First Readings

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, amending part of the Official Zoning Map to rezone 0.66 acres in the Snyder Addition, Block 33 S 1/2, located at 1310 Maple Street, from the High-Density Multi-Family (MF-2) zoning district to the Residential Single-Family (RS) zoning district; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, Amending Chapter 3 “Applications and Permits” and Chapter 4 “Zoning Districts”, of the Unified Development Code (UDC) relative to the Courthouse View Protection Overlay District; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolution; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of Georgetown, Texas, adding Chapter 12.11, entitled “Acquisition, disposition, and use of City Property,” to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Georgetown, Texas; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; establishing a penalty; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, amending the city’s “Utility Extension and Improvement Policy to guide the planning, design, construction, operation and maintenance of all Utility System Improvements’ regarding the placement of water utility facilities in rights-of-way outside the city limits; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolution; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

Second Readings

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, granting a Special Use Permit for the specific uses of “Multifamily, Attached Dwelling Units” within the Local Commercial (C-1) zoning district, for the property located at 4775 Williams Drive, bearing the legal description of 9.29 acres in the J Fish Survey; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, providing for the extension of certain boundary limits of the City of Georgetown, Texas, and the annexation and initial zoning designation of Public Facility (PF) of certain territory consisting of 52.057 acres, more or less, in the Joseph Mott Survey Abstract No. 427 and the Calvin Bell Survey Abstract No. 112 and the annexation of 0.423 acre of right-of-way of County Road 111 adjacent to said territory; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City council of the City of Georgetown, Texas (“City”0 amending Chapter 2.28.210 of the Georgetown Code of Ordinances relating to assignment pay and creating “assignment pay” for certain assignments within the Fire Department; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; providing a severability clause; and providing an effective date.
