City of Georgetown hosts Pirate Party on Aug. 4

The City of Georgetown Parks and Recreation Department presents the fourth annual Pirate Party on Friday, Aug. 4, from 5:30-8 p.m. at the Georgetown Recreation Center, 1003 N. Austin Ave.

This end of summer celebration is for children ages 2-8 years old. In addition to swimming in the outdoor pool, there will be a variety of pirate-themed games and activities, along with a raffle drawing featuring prizes from Edible Arrangements, Sonic, Raising Cane’s and Pinot’s Palette.

Regular pool fees apply: free (age newborn-3), $2 (ages 4-18 and seniors age 55 and older) and $3 (ages 19-54). Georgetown Recreation Center members get in free.
