Real Estate Agent Workshop on Feb. 16

The City of Georgetown and the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce are hosting the first Real Estate Agent Workshop on Thursday, Feb. 16.
The free workshop starts at 9 a.m. at the Georgetown Community Center, 445 E. Morrow St. Coffee and breakfast will be provided by the event sponsor, Wolf Ranch by Hillwood Communities. Scheduled speakers include Hugh Brown, St. David’s Georgetown Hospital CEO, Mayor Dale Ross and Georgetown ISD Superintendent Fred Brent.
The purpose of this event is to equip real estate professionals and those interested in real estate with the information they need to know to effectively market Georgetown to homebuyers. Information tables will also be staffed by representatives from:
- Georgetown ISD
- Georgetown Chamber of Commerce
- Southwestern University
- St. David’s Georgetown Hospital
- The City of Georgetown
- Police and Fire
- Parks and Recreation
- Visitors Center
- Georgetown Utility Systems
- Development Services, including Economic Development, Building Inspections and Planning
