Street Asphalt Resurfacing Work: Updated

Updated, August 16: Rain this week has delayed work on this project. Once the weather clears, a revised schedule will be posted.
Resurfacing work on city streets will begin on Monday, July 25 and continue through September 9. The repaving work will use a recycle-in-place technology that removes asphalt from the road, mixes it with emulsion, and reapplies it to the street surface.

Below is the updated resurfacing schedule:

• August 8 – 12: Gabriel View Drive, Addie Lane, Brandy Lane, Kathi Lane, and Tiffany Lane
• August 15 – 19: Williams Drive (River Bend to Bootys Road/Lakeway Drive)
• August 22 – September 9: Texas Drive (Del Webb Boulevard to Sun City Boulevard) and Whispering Wind (Del Webb Boulevard to Enchanted Drive)

Residents will be notified with door hangers and electronic message boards about the street work. On the day when paving is scheduled on a street, vehicles should not be parked on that street. Driveway access will be limited when paving equipment is on a street.

Work will begin each day at 7 a.m. and will be completed by 6 p.m. Drivers should anticipate delays in work areas.

The work schedule can be affected by weather conditions, mechanical issues, and product availability.
