Of Mice and Men Events at Library

Jan 4, 2016

The Georgetown Public Library partners with Austin Opera for three engaging events centered around John Steinbeck’s classic novella Of Mice & Men. Each of the three events will focus on a film adaptation, the book, or the opera adaptation, and all are free and open to the public.

John Steinbeck’s “Of Mice and Men” was published in 1937 and tells the story of George Milton and Lennie Small, migrant workers during the Great Depression. The book has long been required reading in schools, and is also a frequently banned or challenged book.
