Emerald Springs Park Improvements Meeting May 1

The Parks and Recreation Department will hold a public meeting to get input on improvements planned for Emerald Springs Park. The public meeting will be on Friday, May 1 at 10 a.m. at Emerald Springs Park on Wagon Wheel Trail. The park address is 3604 Old Mill Road.

Improvements planned include new playground equipment and accessible sidewalks. The 14-acre neighborhood park currently has a playground and picnic pavilions with tables. The park is located in a neighborhood between Williams Drive and the Georgetown Municipal Airport.

A representative from the Georgetown Police Department will be at the meeting to talk with residents about creating a Neighborhood Watch program for the park and nearby area.
