Registration for Summer Swim Lessons Begins May 1

Registration for Aquatics Classes offered by Georgetown Parks & Recreation will begin at 8 a.m. on Friday, May 1, 2015 for Georgetown residents, and Saturday, May 2, 2015 for nonresidents.

On-line registration is available, also beginning at 8 a.m. On-line registration fees are as follows.

Zero – $69.00 No Fees
$70.00 – $149.99 6.5% minus $4.50
$150.00 – $500.00 3.5%
Over $500.00 2.5% plus $5.00 fee

An on-line ID and password is required for on-line registration, which may be obtained by calling (512) 930-3596/3595. Interested participants may also register in person at the Georgetown Recreation Center and the Parks & Recreation Administration Building.

The City of Georgetown offers American Red Cross (ARC) Learn to Swim Classes. Swimming lessons are held at the Georgetown Recreation Center and the larger outdoor swimming pools. While locations, days and times vary, every course includes eight 35-minute lessons.
