Incumbents in City Council Districts 1 and 5 file for reelection

City Council incumbents for Districts 1 and 5, Amanda Parr and Kevin Pitts, respectively, have filed for reelection. As of the filing deadline at 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, both are unopposed.

When candidates for City Council seats are unopposed, the council will cancel the election, according to state law.

The last day to register to vote for the May election is April 4.

Early in-person voting is April 22-30. Election day is May 4. Early voting and election day polling places, dates, and times will be listed at wilcotx.gov/elections.
