NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS ON A PROPOSED STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS AND WILLIAMSON COUNTY MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 30 ( ALSO KNOWN AS CRESCENT BLUFF SUBDIVISION)
The City Council of Georgetown, Texas (City) will conduct two public hearings on a proposed Strategic Partnership Agreement (SPA) between the City and Williamson County Municipal Utility District No. 30 (District). The territory of the District includes portions of the Crescent Bluff subdivision located in the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the City in Williamson County, Texas, generally located at the intersection of State Hwy 29 and Crescent Bluff Drive (location map below). The territory of the District is described by metes and bounds in the Consent Agreement between the City and the District, recorded in the Official Public Records of Williamson County, Texas as Document No. 2018070636
The two public hearings will be held during the regular City Council meetings on the following dates and location:
August 24 ,2021 beginning at 6:00 P.M. and
September 14,2021 beginning at 6:00 P.M.

The City desires to annex the land within the District for the limited purpose of imposing and collecting all sales and use taxes within the Land permitted by Section 43.0751 of the Texas Local Government Code (collectively, the “Sales and Use Tax Revenues”). The proposed SPA would bind the District and all present and future owners of the land within the District, agreeing that the Land within the District will become annexed into the City for the limited purpose of imposing and collecting Sales and Use Tax Revenues and for the other limited purposes set forth in SPA.
