Notice of Public Hearing on Amendment of Impact Fees

The Impact Fee Advisory Committee, appointed by Council, reviewed and accepted the report titled “2018 Update of Water and Wastewater Impact Fees, City of Georgetown, Texas” in its May 11, 2018 meeting.  The report updates the land use assumptions, creates a 10-year Capital Improvement Plan, and presents the calculation and recommendation of new Maximum Fee Costs.

A public hearing has been set for August 14, 2018 at 6pm at the Georgetown City Council Chambers, located at 101 E. 7th St., Georgetown, Texas, to consider the amendment of land use assumptions, a capital improvements plan, and imposition of updated impact fees for new or expanded services from the Georgetown Utility System’s water and/or wastewater utilities.

Any member of the public has the right to appear at the hearing and present evidence for or against the proposed fee.  Information on prospective growth, land uses, and capital improvements that were used to calculate the maximum fee amount is available for review at Georgetown City Hall, located at 113 E. Eight Street, Georgetown, Texas and at the Georgetown Municipal Complex, 300-1 Industrial Avenue, from 8 am to 5 pm weekdays.
