2017 Sunset Movie Series kicks off Feb. 25

The Georgetown Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with the Georgetown Fire Department, kicks off the 2017 Sunset Movie Series on Saturday, Feb. 25, at 6 p.m. with a screening of “Firehouse Dog” (PG) at Fire Station 5, located at 3600 D.B. Wood Road.

The Sunset Movie Series features free, family-friendly outdoor movie screenings at a variety of locations throughout Georgetown. The Feb. 25 event will feature a tour of Fire Station 5, a fire safety presentation and truck demonstrations. The movie starts at sunset at approximately 6:30 p.m. Moviegoers are welcome to bring chairs, blankets and picnics. No alcoholic beverages are allowed.

This event is sponsored by Georgetown’s Cotton Patch Café, who will also be onsite providing free drinks and special giveaways.
