Recycling Services

The following items can be dropped off at the Collection Station for recycling. (They cannot be accepted in curbside recycling bins.)

• Used vehicle oil
• Used oil filters
• Vehicle batteries
• Antifreeze
• Corrugated cardboard

Items that are accepted in curbside recycling bins (see Curbside Recycling page) are also accepted at the Collection Station. There is a small charge for this service to cover decontamination costs. 

Household alkaline batteries (AA, AAA, C, D, etc.) do not pose a hazard and can be disposed of in regular household trash. Other batteries can be collected at the Collection Station for disposal.

Smoke detectors do not pose a hazard and can be disposed of in regular household trash.
