Park Rangers

The City of Georgetown is a pedestrian friendly place, with many scenic parks and existing and future Hike and Bike Trails. The Park Ranger Program is designed to help citizens feel safe when in our parks and Hike and Bike Trails and to promote the desire of citizens to utilize these facilities. They are volunteers driving golf carts in the City's parks and hike and bike trails. They are the eyes and ears of the Georgetown Police Department and report any incidents as they find them.
