FireRMS Mobile is a field data collection and data access solution designed to provide mobile users with the same access to information as available from the fire records management system in the stations. In fact, it is virtually one in the same.

FireRMS Mobile is a client copy of FireRMS Enterprise operating on a Microsoft Windows XP toughbook with a subscriber copy of the agency database. The mobile user has access to all modules as specified by their security status. This provides users with unprecedented access to key information, and the ability to add to, or update information anytime and anywhere.

FireRMS Mobile uses standard Microsoft Merge Replication technology to synchronize the mobile database with the master database and ensures that the mobile user has the latest information from the master database, and that any updates made in the field are sent to the master. This technology provides unattended (automatic) synchronization of the databases anytime a network connection is present.

Bio-key's FireRMS Mobile operates in either a connected or disconnected state since the entire database is resident on the toughbook. In other words the mobile operates stand-alone without the need for a server connection. This allows the mobile user to continue to update regardless of the connection state.
