Fire Extinguishers

Every home should have at least one fire extinguisher and it should be kept in a handy location. Everyone in the family should know where the extinguishers are and how to use them.

An ABC fire extinguisher will extinguish all three classes of fire and is the best type to have in your home.

Training and demonstration classes are provided to the public. This class includes discussion of the different types of fire and the correct extinguisher to use on each. Also included are the determining factors to know, when deciding whether to fight the fire and the correct procedure to follow when doing so. Participants are provided an opportunity to use a fire extinguisher on a controlled fire.
