FAQ

Why is a fire engine sent when I call for an ambulance?

Fire Engine and Ladder trucks are staffed with firefighters who are dual-trained as Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics, and all fire apparatus carry basic life support equipment, including Automatic External Defibrillators (AED) and some medications.
