Fire Chief Lincoln has over 30 years of firefighter experience, he began his career with Georgetown Fire as a Firefighter Explorer in 1972, later became a Volunteer Firefighter, and was promoted through the ranks from Firefighter, Fire Captain, to Fire Chief in 1999. Chief Lincoln is a member of the Williamson County Fire Chiefs Association, the Texas Fire Chiefs Association, and the International Association of Fire Chiefs.

He has been an active participant of the National Fire Academy, Guest Instructor at the Municipal and Industrial Fireman's Training sponsored by Texas A&M Fire Protection Division, Austin Community College Advisory Board, and Williamson County Hazmat Team. Chief Lincoln is a native of Georgetown and strives to ensure community service is the department's number one priority.
