Wildlife

Some of Georgetown's most valuable natural resources are our flora and fauna. Wildlife helps add a unique flavor to the Georgetown experience. We at Animal Services urge our community members to value our wild neighbors, recognizing their right to live alongside us, peacefully coexisting wherever possible. In some cases wildlife can cause nuisances, and we at Animal Services will assist residents and business owners whenever we can in dealing with these nuisance animals.

We ask that community members recognize that wildlife, just by its very presence, does not represent a danger or nuisance, but in situations where wild animals are causing problems, call us at 512/930-3592 and we will do what we can to assist in alleviating the nuisance. Often information alone is sufficient to resolve a situation.
