Proposed Ordinances for April 25, 2023 Council Meeting

The following ordinances are on the agenda for consideration at the regular City Council meeting of April 25, 2023.  Please see the agenda packet here for more information.

First and Final Readings

Ordinance authorizing the issuance of City of Georgetown, Texas General Obligation Bonds, Series 2023; levying an ad valorem tax in support of the bonds; approving an official statement, a paying agent/registrar agreement and other related documents; awarding the sale of the bonds and authorizing other matters relating to the bonds.

Ordinance authorizing the issuance of City of Georgetown, Texas Combination Tax and Revenue Certificates of Obligation, Series 2023; levying an ad valorem tax and pledging certain revenues in support of the certificates; approving an official statement, a paying agent/registrar agreement and other related documents; awarding the sale of the certificates and authorizing other matters relating to the certificates.

Ordinance authorizing the issuance of City of Georgetown, Texas Utility System Revenue and Refunding bonds; pledging certain revenues in support of the bonds; approving an official statement, a paying agent/registrar agreement, a purchase agreement and an escrow agreement; establishing procedures for selling and delivering the bonds; and authorizing other matters relating to the bonds.

First Readings

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas approving the “Development and Authorized Improvements Agreement”, between the City of Georgetown, Texas, LAMY 2243, Ltd., and A.C. Weir Properties, Ltd., pertaining to the Bluffview Public Improvement District; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, providing for the extension of certain boundary limits of the City of Georgetown, Texas, and the annexation and initial zoning designation of Business Park (BP) of certain territory consisting of 9.441 acres, more or less, out of the Lewis P. Dyches Survey Abstract No. 180, as described herein; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, adding Chapter 10.06 of the Code of Ordinances related to nonradioactive hazardous material routing through and in the City of Georgetown; repealing Section 10.04.030; providing for a penalty pursuant to Section 10.06.130; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

Second Readings

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, amending the 2030 Comprehensive Plan by amending the future land use designations within the Williams Drive Gateway Plan for the properties more or less within the North Old Town Neighborhood Boundary generally located east of Austin Avenue, west of San Gabriel Park, north of the North Fork of the San Gabriel River and south of Commerce Way from “High Density Mixed Housing” to “Single Family”, “Small Office/Medium Density Housing”, and “Medium Density Mixed Housing”; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, granting a Special Use Permit for the specific uses of  “Attached Multifamily” within the Local Commercial (C-1) zoning district, for the property located at 502 W. 21st Street, bearing the legal description of .949 acres in the Clement Stubblefield Survey, Abstract No. 558; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.
