The following ordinances are on the agenda for consideration at the regular City Council meeting of February 14, 2023.  Please see the agenda packet here for more information.

Second Readings

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, amending Article III, Chapter 14.28 of the Georgetown Code of Ordinances to grant American Medical Response of Texas, Inc., DBA American Medical Response, a franchise to operate a medical transfer service; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown Texas (“City”) amending Chapter 13.32 of the Code of Ordinances relating to Water and Wastewater Impact Fees to amend the definitions; amend the land use assumptions; amend the Impact Fee Capital Improvements Plan for Water and Wastewater facilities; amend the computation of Impact Fees; amend the Water and Wastewater Impact Fee Service Areas; amend the Water and Wastewater Impact Fee Amount; amend the assessed Water and Wastewater Fee history; including a severability clause; including a conflicts clause; and providing an effect date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, providing for the extension of certain boundary limits of the City of Georgetown, Texas, for the property generally located at the intersection of FM 971 and Haverland Drive and the annexation and initial zoning designation of Low Density Multifamily (MF-1) of certain territory consisting of 28.782 acres more or less in the Antonio Flores Survey Abstract NO. 235 and the annexation of 1.648 acres of right-of-way of Haverland Drive adjacent to said territory; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, granting a Special Use Permit for a Restricted Personal Service for the specific use of bail bonds service in the Mixed-Use Downtown (MU-DT) zoning district, for the property located at 706 Rock Street, bearing the legal description of 0.1228 acres, being parts of Lots 2 & 3, Block 42, City of Georgetown, repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, amending part of the Official Zoning Map to rezone 11.795 acres out of the John Berry Survey, Abstract No. 51, generally located at the intersection of Haverland Drive and County Road 971, from the Agriculture (AG) zoning district to Low Density Multifamily (MF-1) zoning district; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, amending part of the Official Zoning Map to rezone 12.750 acres in the Joseph Robertson Survey Abstract 545, generally located at 3225 Westinghouse Road from the Agriculture (AG) to Planned Unit Development (PUD) with a base zoning of Low Density Multi-family (MF-1) and Local Commercial (C-1); repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective
date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, amending Chapters 2.36, 2.48 and 2.64 of the Code of Ordinances; repealing Chapters 2.52, 2.68, 2.88, 2.92, 2.96, 2.100, 2.108, 2.110, and 2.113 relating to boards and commission of the City; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.
