Proposed Ordinances for consideration at the January 10, 2023 City Council meeting

The following ordinances are on the agenda for consideration at the regular City Council meeting of January 10, 2023.  Please see the agenda packet here for more information.

First Readings

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, amending part of the Official Zoning Map to rezone 1.97 Acres out of the W. Stubblefield Survey, for the property generally located at 51 Berry Ln, from the Agriculture (AG) zoning district to the General Commercial (C-3) zoning district; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, for the property generally located north of County Road 150 and east of IH-35 providing for the extension of certain boundary limits of the City of Georgetown, Texas, and the annexation and initial zoning designation of Industrial (IN) of certain territory consisting of 63.888 acres, more or less, in the John Berry Survey Abstract No. 51 and portions of right-of-way on County Road 150, as described herein; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, providing for the extension of certain boundary limits of the City of Georgetown, Texas, for the property generally located at the intersection of FM 971 and Haverland Drive and the annexation of certain territory consisting of 29.177 acres, more or less, in the Antonio Flores Survey  Abstract No. 235, including approximately 1.648 acres of right-of-way of Haverland Drive; amending part of the Official Zoning Map to rezone 11.4 acres out of the Antonio Flores Survey Abstract No. 235 to the Low Density Multifamily (MF-1) zoning district; amending the Official Zoning Map to zone 29.177 acres, more or less, in the Antonio Flores Survey to the Low Density Multifamily (MF-1) zoning, upon annexation; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City of Georgetown, TX amending the Fiscal Year 2023 annual budget due to conditions that resulted in new program requirements in the current year, and due to the timing of capital projects and other expenditures approved in the prior year; appropriating the various amounts thereof; and repealing all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict therewith.

Second Readings

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, amending the 2022 Annual Budget for year-end obligations that were not known at the time the budget was adopted, appropriating the various amounts thereof; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.
