Proposed Ordinances for consideration at the August 9, 2022 City Council Meeting

The following ordinances are on the agenda for consideration at the regular City Council meeting of August 9, 2022.  Please see the agenda packet here for more information.

First Readings

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, granting a Special Use Permit for the specific use of “Fuel Sales” within the Local Commercial (C-1) zoning district, for the property located at 500 Pleasant Valley Drive, bearing the legal description of 1.377 acres in the Antonio Flores Survey, Abstract Number 235; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas adding Chapter 2.120, Titled “Water Capital Improvements Advisory Committee” to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Georgetown relating to the establishment of a Capital Improvements Advisory Committee; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance approving and adopting the final 2022 O&M Service Plan update, and the final 2022 Assessment Roll (to be kept on file with the City Secretary); establishing classifications for the apportionment of costs and the methods of assessing special assessments for the services and improvements to property in the Georgetown Village Public Improvement District No. 1; closing the hearing and levying assessments for the cost of certain supplemental services and improvements to be provided in the District during 2023; fixing charges and liens against the property in the District and against owners thereof; providing for the collection of the assessments; and providing for an effective date.

Second Readings

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, amending part of the Official Zoning Map to rezone 51.60 acres out of the William Addison Survey, Abstract No 21, and the Lewis J. Dyches Survey, Abstract 2, generally located at 1951 FM 1460, from the Agriculture (AG) zoning district to a Planned Unit Development District (PUD) with a base zoning of Local Commercial (C-1) zoning district and Low Density MultiFamily (MF-1) zoning district repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas, providing for the extension of certain boundary limits of the City of Georgetown, Texas, and the annexation and initial zoning designations of Two-Family (TF) and Scenic-Natural Gateway Overlay of certain territory consisting of 7.38 acres, more or less, in the Frances A. Hudson Survey Abstract No. 295, as described herein; repealing conflicting ordinances and resolutions; including a severability clause; and establishing an effective date.
