“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” at San Gabriel Park Sept. 16

The City of Georgetown Parks and Recreation Department and the Georgetown Public Library present “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” (PG-13) on Saturday, Sept. 16 in San Gabriel Park. The event will take place on the soccer fields located behind the Georgetown Recreation Center, 1003 N. Austin Ave.
This is a family-friendly, free community event for all ages. Pre-show crafts and activities will start at 6:30 p.m., and the movie starts at sunset, around 7:45 p.m. Moviegoers are welcome to bring blankets, chairs, and picnics.
