Street Repaving in River Bend, Country Club

UPDATE (2015-09-01):  Crews will be finishing up paving operations on River Bend this Wednesday afternoon September 2.  A new area has been added to this year’s paving project;  Bootys Crossing road from William drive to Gabriel View. Crews will begin milling operations tomorrow and start paving operations Thursday September 3 and wrap up Friday September 4.  Traffic delays with lane closures should be expected on Bootys Crossing as well as the outside east bound lane of Williams from west of Booty’s.  There will be flagging operations on Booty’s Rd.

Repaving work on residential streets in the River Bend and Country Club neighborhoods starts on Wednesday, August 19 and continues through Friday, September 4.

Streets or street segments to be repaved include Bobwhite Lane, Cottonwood Drive, Dunman Drive, Judy Drive, Mesquite Lane, Parker Drive, Power Circle, Power Road, and River Bend Drive.

Residents will be notified with door hangers and electronic message boards about the street work. On the day when paving is scheduled on a street, vehicles should not be parked on that street. Driveway access will be limited when paving equipment is on a street.

Work will begin each day at 7 a.m. and will be completed by 6 p.m. The schedule is weather-dependent.

The repaving work will use a recycle-in-place technology that removes asphalt from the road, mixes it with emulsion, and reapplies it to the street surface.

Drivers should anticipate delays in work areas.
