The Georgetown Community Center is located within San Gabriel Park at 445 E. Morrow Street and may be rented for reunions, weddings, parties, meetings, etc. Reservations may be made up to one year in advance.
Reservations for the Community Center may only be made Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm. Anyone requesting to reserve the Community Center on a weekend for a date one year in advance, should contact the Parks and Recreation office the Friday prior to the date. There will be a lottery drawing if more than one party requests the Community Center on the same day one year in advance. If you are requesting an event that is one year to the date you must call between 8:am – noon to be placed in a lottery drawing.
The building has the capacity for 440 people. Facilities available are a kitchen, tables and chairs, restrooms, P.A. system, and barbecue pits. If renting the whole building there are approximately 60 tables and approximately 400 chairs available for use. The main hall is approximately 139′ X 50′; 6,950 sq. ft. One half of the building may also be rented for certain events. Please call for details.
